Great Cats for Great Homes

Bebe has a musical purr that she saves almost exclusively for our dog.  She is never far from the dog’s side or in the same room or laying across her front paws or purring under her neck.  Our dog is older and not too much into playing Cat Games any more but Bebe doesn’t quit trying.

Bebe is the first one to come when I rattle the treat bag and she can sense when I am in the kitchen and food comes out.  (“maybe for me…huh? huh?”)  She is not a lap cat but she comes up on the couch in the evening and sits by me and I pet her which she loves.  She isn’t a fan of being picked up but she DOES like to play with laser and flying feather toys and she and the other cats race for the red laser dot when they play together.

Bebe is good with other cats and lives in a foster home with multiple cats from senior to young adult ages.  Although she is the youngest she holds her own and isn’t shy when it comes to food and treats.  She is small for her age and has a beautiful black and white bi-color coat with white whiskers and a small splotch on the side of her nose that envelops her chin.  She has white paws and leggings and a white tummy that she likes to have you scritch on as you pet her head and neck.

Given a chance to adjust with patience she will be a companion cat with personality.   Bebe is intelligent and will do best in a home with a dog that respects cats or other cats that like to play.  She is not child-friendly and loud and abrupt noise will send her scattering.  She plays independently with balls and goofy toy mice that rattle and uses her cat tree to scratch and sleep on.  Never any problem with a litter box.  She eats canned food twice a day and quality dry kibble is out all the time.

Bebe lives in a foster home in NW Hillsboro and can be visited by putting in a pre-adopt form.  She is indoor only.
