CORA - Offered by Owner - Birman senior

We adopted Cora in 2018 from a shelter. She was a stray and had just had a litter of kittens. We believe she is 8 1/2 years old today. Cora is an incredibly gentle, sweet, and mild mannered cat. She has always lived indoors with us and is great with children.

I grew up with lots of cats and had one other cat as an adult until she died, but Cora is the most easy going cat I have personally ever known. She loves attention, but she also is pretty independent and does her own thing.

While she is comfortable around dogs, I think she would do best in a dog-free home. Other cats would likely be fine. She is very friendly with visitors.

We have to rehome Cora because of a change in our family situation and are sad to have to do so! The only negative is that she has softer poop maybe once or twice a year that gets stuck to her fur and requires bathing. Giving her gentle digestion food helped a lot! Grooming her is also a possibility. We hope Cora can find a new home with someone who is looking for a gentle and very affectionate cat!

For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the owner for follow-ups and meeting arrangement.

Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.
