Great Cats for Great Homes

 Hi Friends! I am happiest when you are petting me – I have to roll over on my back EACH TIME so you can scritch-scratch my belly as I roll side to side.  Oh, and a little in back of my ears too…yes, right THERE!  I never tire of this game and if you sit still I will flop next to you until you start making me wiggle with happiness. 

I was declawed when I was a baby but while that is an awful thing to do to a kitten I haven’t let it get the best of me.  I am gentle, I don’t bite and I don’t hide or act out.  I do a “mock scratch” on my cat tree and I can climb and jump around like every other 11-month old boy – maybe even better as I am quite the athlete and can climb up high and jump from place to place very gracefully!

I run to you when you come in the door because I MISSED YOU and I hope I can find a home with nice and gentle children that will be kind to me and welcome me on their beds.  I don’t like screaming and shrieking – so a home with older children is best.  No babies or young children for me – I have already been that route and it was not a good thing for me.  My foster mom says she wants to be SURE that my new home is just perfect for me.

I am OK with dogs – I like the dogs that visit in my foster home now – I have not lived with other cats.  I am curious but maybe also a little nervous because I don’t have claws.  Probably being your one and only kitty is best.  Of course I have to stay inside and will need a house to roam in – apartments are just too small and I need room to run and explore.  Come visit me in Hillsboro – I am near the Hillsboro Airport and you can come visit during the day or in the early evening if you call 503-312-4296 and make an appointment.  Bring the kids though as I am excited to meet you all!  Love, Carlos Santana
