Great Cats for Great Homes

Magnolia and Julep  are quiet and gentle sister cats, funny to watch and who are very cuddly and loving with each other and with the  people that are around them.  They bring  presents to our door (mostly socks & toys) and they wake us with kisses every now and again.  These sisters  have been kept mostly indoor, but with a curious cat's tendency to want to see what's going on outside, from time to time they roam a bit in our yard.  They never really go farther than the eye can see.  They like to explore, but never leave home.

In our home, Magnolia is a lover who always wants to be around the action. She is often the care taker of her sister, grooming her and trying to play with her. She is vocal about wanting your love. She will sleep by your side at night or sit in your lap to keep you company when your watching your favorite show. Her purr is loud and vibrant and I have found it soothing after rough days of work to come home to such cuddles. Magnolia is also the one who'll bring you presents at your door or bed and she's the one who'll wake you with kisses if you've slept in past her breakfast time.

Although these girls are the same age, Julep plays the part of older sister.  She is a bit less social than Magnolia but still very loving.  She greets guests in our home and is what I consider a lounge around cat.  She has about 5 favorite places to nap, one of which will always be anything box-like (she loves board game box tops especially). Julep comes to say hi and get pets every now and again, but not as frequently as her sister.  She is equally loving, but in less frequent doses as she enjoys her independence.

Both love to chase toys, climb things & they definitely play fight a bit too, often starting from or dissolving into grooming time. Like I said earlier, they are fun duo to watch!  They have a large cat tower they love to scratch and climb on and they have excellent litterbox manners.  These cats have recently been seen by the vet and are UTD on vaccines and have current bloodwork and records showing they are healthy with no problems anticipated.
