Great Cats for Great Homes

King Kong is one amazing cat, he has never bit, scratched or even hissed at a human in all his 8 years. He is the kind of cat that can spend hours curled up next you while reading a novel or watching a movie. He is content with the simple things in life and does not require a lot of needy attention.  

He has been an indoor/ outdoor cat all his life, he has preferred being out in nature over watching it through a window, although he will use a litter box occasionally, he really prefers to do his business outside. He would like to be the only cat but he will allow one other cat in his environment.

He has never been around dogs so I am thinking dogs in the house would not be a good idea. He does like kids as long as they are not rough with him. He has been given a lot of positive attention and handling although he does not like being carried around in someone's arms, like I said he is a very independent cat. 

He has one minor flaw, he needs to lose weight because of mild asthma, the vet said the only treatment is exercise and lose some pounds ( he weighs 12 pounds). he is a very clean cat, by the looks of him you wouldn't believe he goes outside!

The only reason we are rehoming Kong is not because we want to live without him, it's because we have to rehome ourselves and downsize from an house to an apartment, as you might know apartments don't like cats running around on the grounds so he would have to be inside all day and night and that is not a situation where Kong would thrive, our fear is that he will eventually go crazy and get out and runaway. We would rather give him to a sweet, wonderful forever home than take any chances of losing him in another way.

Please find it in your heart to consider adopting Kong, he will be the best decisions you can make for the new year!
