Great Cats for Great Homes

Zoe’s owners are moving out of the country and can’t take her with them. She is a 7-year-old tortoiseshell ball of fun and needs to find a new home. She joined their family as a kitten and has lived with one other cat and a small dog. Zoe is carrying a few extra pounds, but the other cat she lives with has difficulty eating enough, so it’s a tough combination between the two of them. She likes to think she’s in charge of them, and is usually the instigator of “let’s chase each other around the house.”

Zoe likes to do most of her loving at a distance and can be choosy about when and where she decides to accept affection. That doesn’t mean she doesn’t like to talk, however, and is usually happy meowing along in whatever you’d like to talk to her about. Zoe is feisty, affectionate, and loyal. She is a master at the art of lounging and is perfectly content with a fireplace or a comfy chair. Zoe doesn’t live with children currently, but has been around them often and seems perfectly happy. She has always been an indoor cat and is de-clawed in her front paws, but occasionally goes outside for bits of time to explore. She would be a wonderful addition to any family looking for a forever friend.
