Hello. My name is Gracie. I am 3 years old and I weigh 7 pounds. I was rescued from a hoarder who did not take care of me. I had many babies but all were dead except for 2 of them. When I got to my new foster mom's house, I was terrified and I didn't feel very good at all. But I loved my babies and I protected them as best I could. My foster mom understood that I was scared and protective.
After a couple of weeks I began to notice that my foster mom always talked to me in a soft voice and she moved very slowly so I began to relax. Her 2 male cats learned early on to avoid me as I chased them everywhere. Her big 110 pound dog and I became good friends right away. I boss him around and he obeys. I rub all over his face and he licks me.
I trusted my foster mom enough to jump up and sit on her lap. I also began to like her 2 big male cats and I would try to make friends with them but they would still run from me because I wasn't very nice to them at first.
I began to explore my foster mom's house and just recently her boy cats have warmed up to me and we all sleep together now. I never scratch any of them and I purr all the time. I sit in my foster mom's lap a lot and I purr and purr while she pets me. I also purr while I eat! I am so happy now!
My foster mom thinks that I would do best in a quiet home without young children. I am VERY affectionate. Oh yes, my foster mom just reminded me to tell you that I always use my cat box and my scratching pole. I don't scratch any furniture or climb things. She says that I am a very well behaved girl.
