Gus has eyes that are such deep blue that you think you are staring into a pool of pristine water. Contrast this with his creamy orange and white xtra-large body and you have a beautiful and impressive cat!
Gus was abandoned when his owner moved away and he was rescued by a family where the two teen girls doted on him. He feels laps are for his resting pleasure and that arms are meant to carry him. Although at 17+ pounds he isn't carried for long! He enjoys a sunny day on a porch but is really an inside cat - he loves his scratching post and likes to sleep at the top of his favorite cat tree, extra-large size like he is!
Gus is not fond of dogs but gets along fine with other cats after the initial "hiss and spit" greeting. While he is playful he also has a couch-potato side that finds sleeping in tiny beds just fine and dandy. He is not a picky eater (hummm can you tell?) and uses his litter box consistently and never sprays or marks.
