BEOWOLF (a twist in spelling from the legend) or BEO, male, around 10lbs, beige/brown/white with raccoon tail, blue eyes, short fur, microchipped, fixed, 11yrs old, adopted in Atascadero CA, Siamese Mix, has claws, been vaccinated but due now, I have all his vet records. Very healthy, only a UTI age 8 weeks and nothing since. Eats in AM HILLS Senior Chicken and rice and sometimes I switch it up with Grain Free chicken and potato (but he does not like this as much), for wet food he gets Wellness Chicken, Simply Nourish chicken, and Natures Recipe grain free chicken. For treats I give either Organix chicken grain free, Wellness chicken and lamb, and on occasion Greenies hairball control chicken flavor, but he is not a big eater and maintains his weight. He has no allergies, but it’s easier to feed him the same diet as the other cat. He is friendly to family but very shy to visitors or strangers. He may take a few weeks to adjust before he becomes his clown self! He LOVES ROUTINE. Quiet and sometimes hides but VERY affectionate when he gets to know you. Independent but playful when engaged… gentle play without teeth or claws! He likes to chase bugs, likes to engage with you in feather toys and thick string toys (but not without supervision) and sometimes little mouse toys. Loves to play on the bed with my hands under the covers like a mouse! He is indoor only, but enjoys going outside into his cat enclosure to scout his surrounding and watch birds/squirrels. He has access to the entire house, but stays out where he is trained NOT to go, like kitchen counters (he minds well). He loves looking out the window. His entire life has been indoors, so he doesn't know or understand other animals or the scary world and is very fearful of change. He gets along and is gentle with his fellow cats but may take some time to get used to it. He is better alone in a one pet household. He would not be good with children, but adults and seniors would be a good match. He is spooked easily and does not like sudden moves or noises. He can be very funny and act like a clown! He is very lovey dovey and loves to sleep on the bed with you, but during the day he likes to sleep under the bed! Once he bonds with you and starts a routine, he will lay on your lap if you don’t move around. He is well trained and behaved and acts like putty in a vets hands. He tolerates being gently brushed and getting her nails trimmed! HE LOVES his head and face gently scratched and will lay on the bed with you every night and want affection. He has a very sweet demeanor. He likes his cardboard cat scratcher and other scratchers to stretch and reduce anxiety. He likes unscented clumping litter in a large box. He likes his box cleaned often! He does not enjoy travel, but does OK long distances. He likes to sleep in the same bed and do the same thing every day with little changeThe Adoption fee is $120 for kittens ($200 for two to the same home) $60 for adult cats. The adoption fee Includes spay/neuter, microchip, worming and flea treatment, current vaccines, vet exam and free 30-day insurance offer. Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need. Help keep Beowolf out of a shelter - he is only 10 years old and has a lot of life left to share with you!
