This is a very unusual adoption/foster home request. The owner of this cat is seriously ill and must rehome her immediately. The owner will be admitted to the hospital soon and Carrie will need a home before that can happen. First off physically Carrie is beautiful with blue eyes and a lovely blue/gray coat with Lavender colored ears.
Inside however because of years of being ignored, this pretty girl is suffering badly. She is not touched and rarely is spoken to. Her owner keeps her home very clean but cannot bring herself to associate with or touch Carrie. It is distressing to see the suffering that both the human and the animal are going through.
Carrie has had excellent medical care for the 5 years she has been alive. Her owner sees that she is well fed and physically cared for but she has not, for reasons only she knows, played or interacted with this kitty. CCR is acting on behalf of both the owner and the cat to help find a suitable home that has patience and gentle kindness to help Carrie become a cat again. We know this sounds dramatic but the situation IS serious. If you find yourself touched by her plight and want to try to help her, these are the criteria: No cats, No dogs, No children. No guarantees. One or perhaps two people in the home. Patience in abundance.
