NERMAL:
Nermal is an 8 year-old gray tabby. He spent the first 5 years of his life as an indoor cat, playing with his brother Charlie, playing fetch, leaping around our apartment chasing feather on a string, and playing hide and seek with my wife and I. Basically he was a dog in training. Then in quick succession, we had a child, and moved to a new city, and his world got a little turned upside down.
I think even three years later, heâs still a little traumatized, as heâs a little on edge, but heâs not aggressive. Heâs just become, well, more of a cat than he was. He likes to lounge on your legs, cuddle up in your arm pit at bedtime, and get rubs all over the face. (No belly rubs though. Thatâs not for him.) He just needs an owner who gets cats, but probably doesnât have another one, as he likes being the center of attention. He avoids kids and most strangers, except those who have enough patience to let him come to them after much examination.
