About Kaylee

  • Status: Adopted!

What a nice cat. I foster a lot of (mostly) kittens and sometimes a teen group is in my home. I love the fact that they are not as fragile, are rarely sick and I have a chance to get a glimpse into the cat they will become. More-so than with baby kittens, teens such as Kaylee are forming the personality they will keep. It is with great pleasure that I introduce this pretty dilute calico to you. She has become a special friend of our family - she sits on our laps for a brief hello and then is off to play with the younger kittens and maybe share a game of chasing one toy or another, or maybe a game of tag or (as in currently) she is showing our 9-week old boy kitten how to bat a ball in a track. He is sprawled out opposite her and she is engaging the white ball as it spins in the circle much like a human playing tetherball. I am sure she is teaching him how to play and he is watching his 'teacher' intently. Kaylee is gentle but not shy anymore even when an older kitty plays the "I was here first" card and hisses that she had better not barge in on HER territory. Kaylee looks at her like "What?? I would never...." in her somewhat innocent way. Kaylee is quiet for the most part and yet has a sparkle to her personality that hints of intellegence. We would be happy to show Kaylee to you. While we think she is pretty awesome we know that she needs a Forever home where she can be the special one - and so adoption is a must. Call 503-312-4296 or visit our website at catscradlerescue.com/adopt to complete an no-obligation form to adopt her. The Adoption fee is $120 for kittens ($200 for two to the same home) $60 for adult cats. The adoption fee Includes spay/neuter, microchip, worming and flea treatment, current vaccines, vet exam and free 30-day insurance offer. Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.
