Princess is an indoor 13 year old best friend and a beauty! Princess is de-clawed, spayed, and has her shots with a clean bill of health. Princess loves to talk after a day of missing you. She enjoys to give and receive attention, being a very affectionate kitty she finds comfort in being close. Princess can be shy at first, but warms up fast when she feels safe. Princess does very well with small to medium size dogs as long as they are not too young (she was raised with a small dog. Princess has lived with a cat mate for half a year and tends to keep to her âsafe zoneâ when sharing a home with another cat. Princess is used to a home that is mellow with a normal routine. She is not used to a large family or children.
With most cats, it takes time to re-adjust to a new home as it can be very stressful. Introducing her to one room and one person at a time would be the best way for her to feel safe and welcome. I have given Princess a stress collar to release kitty pheromones to calm her when moving. Princess needs to be kept well brushed and on occasion I give her a hairball remedy to keep her hair under control.
