When I first saw Remy I was shocked at his emaciated physical appearance but I soon saw that little spark in his eyes and knew that he would make it. He was literally "skin and bones" after having his hair shaved and he had not one tiny ounce of fat reserve left. 24-hours longer and it might have been a different story BUT his is one of great survival and of bouncing back from a deck stacked against him. Over the last weeks he has regained his muscles and fat and with plenty of exercise, snuggle time and friends to play with has become a wonderful, loving kitten. Remy has not forgotten that people saved him. From the young girl that found Remy and his brother Willie to the love of a foster family determined not to give up, Remy has been the beneficiary of care, concern and has repaid us with laughter at his crazy-silly antics. He loves to be picked up and held and also to run, investigate every piece of fluff and touch noses with the older cats and kittens in his foster home. Bedtime? Remy doesn't want to be left out there either and picks a spot close to you. We hear he had longish hair when he was found. It is growing back and the deep brown and umber tones are lovely and unusual. Adoption fee for Remy is $120 and while he does not have to be adopted with his buddy Willie he does need another cat in the home to be happiest.
