Her tiny squeaks and whispery meows are some of the softest, most gentle sounds in the world. This 10-year old orange beauty is loving, independent, gentle—and incredibly bashful.

Ginger’s ideal home is calm, fully indoors, and on the quieter, slower side of life. She thrives with patient humans, regardless of age or size, as long as they’re respectful of her space. For her peace of mind and senior soul, Ginger prefers to reign as the only queen of her castle—so a home without other cats or dogs is best.

Like any wise ruler, she takes her time getting to know the lay of the land. And who can blame her? New people and places can feel big and spooky at first. But once she feels safe and settled, her purr motor revs up, and the leg rubs and headbutts are endless—especially when she’s being brushed!

Grooming is a must for a queen of her chunkier stature. She also appreciates a gentle wet wipe to her bum every other day or so to prevent the urge to scoot. It takes a village to keep a queen looking this regal, after all.

Ginger may be quiet and bashful at first, but once she trusts you, her love is as deep and comforting as her golden-orange fur.  Ginger is indoor only and lives in Hillsboro with her owner.  Her rehoming fee is $100
