Great Cats for Great Homes

Meet Belle precious and sweet <1 year old (best estimate) female. Belle first showed up at the end of March at her current foster home backyard feeding station. It appeared there were 3 cats about the same age -  maybe her brothers? All 3 kitties would eat at the feeding station, but they were cautious of noise, human foot steps or other kitties in the yard.
After a couple of weeks Belle decided to approach the female caring for the cat colony, and surprise she was friendly, very vocal, affectionate and very hungry.

Pictures were taken and posted at multiple lost and found pet sites . A few close neighbors mentioned that they were pretty sure the kitties were dumped and had been wandering in several backyards, but would scare easily. A few days after posting Belle showed up cold, soaking wet and meowing loudly asking for help. She welcomed hugs and was very happy to come inside and spend the night in a kennel and have a warm bed, soft blanket and food in her tummy.

This little girl is very affectionate, super sweet, loves tummy rubs, kisses and cuddles. She feels very secure being indoors and is slowly warming up to other kitties in the household but for right now prefers just watching them from the safety of her kennel. Neighbors reported tom cats chasing her and she hid behind their fire wood pile or under their shed, and seemed super scared on her own, but they could not catch her. And appointment was made and Belle is now spayed and fully vaccinated, dewormed, and got a monthly flea medication.

This gorgeous sweet girl is all ready for her forever home. Whoever gets this baby girl will have a little soulmate as she loves one on one attention and lots of cuddles. I believe she will be best suited in a household free from small children, with the company of older adults possibly as the only kitty.  With very slow introduction to other cats in the home it is possible she will adapt. So far she is very afraid of dogs, as she was probably chased away from several yards. I would prefer no dogs in the household unless there is a super sweet dog that would be very patient awith her.  

Belle lives in Salem with her foster and her rehoming fee is $75.
