Fitz is a charming, 11-year-old black domestic shorthair with striking green eyes and a tiny white patch on his chest. He’s been a beloved part of our family since he was a kitten, and it breaks our hearts to part with him—but we’re relocating to Texas next month, and unfortunately, our new rental home does not allow cats. Fitz is incredibly affectionate and thrives on attention. He’s happiest when he’s curled up in your lap or lounging nearby, soaking in the love and giving gentle purrs in return. He’s a low-maintenance, indoor-only cat who is fully litter trained and easy to care for, with a sleek short coat and a mellow temperament. Over time, Fitz has warmed up beautifully to our young children and now enjoys their company—so he can absolutely be a great companion in a family with respectful kids. He would also do wonderfully in a quiet home with adults or seniors who can offer him the companionship and cuddles he adores. We want nothing more than to find him a peaceful, loving home where he can spend his golden years in comfort and affection.
