Great Cats for Great Homes

Leo is a 6yo Tuxedo cat (M). I adopted him as a kitten from a rescue shelter in San Diego. Out of all the kittens in that litter Leo was the most curious about me and was full of life, so I chose him as I live alone and was looking for some good company. His tendencies the way he follows me around everywhere, or meows when it’s time to eat are almost more dog-like than cat, but he does get skittish around strangers and takes some time to develop that trust.

He’s a great buddy to have around I’ve tried to bring other cats into the mix, and he spent some time at my parents who have several cats of their own and things just didn’t work out in the long run. He doesn’t have claws (front or back) so it’s imperative that he remain an INDOOR CAT and to be mindful of that and how it would play into a potential homing situation. The ideal situation would be a home in which he is the only pet.

Though he’s an indoor cat, he’s extremely curious about the outdoor world. So any sliding doors or windows he’d be able to perch upon will bring him a great deal of joy I’m going through a difficult time in my life and am in the process of selling my home. After that happens I won’t be able to care for him anymore. My parents aren’t able to bring him in due to their other cats, so I’m looking to find him a Forever Home. It’s been difficult for me to accept the fact that this has to happen, so it’s important I find him a new owner and home where he can live a good life.

Leo lives in West Linn with his owner.  His rehoming fee is $50
