Harlequin (Harley) is a sweet older gentleman who would do best with mature adult or senior humans, but he would be fine in a home with older children. He would like to be an only cat. He enjoys peace and quiet, but he also likes to chase treats and be petted or brushed while sitting next to you on the couch. In the last 2 years, since his littermate companion died, he has become more outgoing and friendly, but he still needs time to get to know you before he'll come close. Like most cats, he is not a fan of riding in the car and going to the vet!
We would like to find a foster or adoptING home for Harley. Our family is moving to Colorado until next April, and we can't take him with us. We have had him since he was 6 weeks old and would be happy to take him back in the spring once we get resettled in the PNW. If you foster him, we will pay for food, cat litter, and medical expenses. We would like you to take him to our vet (if fostering) and consult us about his care needs. hARLEY IS INDOOR ONLY and his rehoming fee is $25. If you foster him the family will pay for his supplies, medial care and food.
This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the owner for follow-ups and meeting arrangement. Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.
