We need help rehoming our Jinxie. Jinxie or Jinx is roughly 1-2 years old, we took him and his brother (we think they are siblings simply due to proximity) in after finding them roaming around our property this past November. We have gotten him neutered, up to date on all vaccines and dewormed. He is potty trained. He is simply a very sweet cat, we are in love with him and truly wish we could keep him. Unfortunately, he does not get along with our older female cats. Our 19 year old female cat cannot take the stress of a long drawn out introduction, the last two months have been torture for her, we do not want her remaining time with us to be like this. Jinx does just fine with male cats and dogs. He would love to sit in your lap and chill. It is VERY important to us that he gets a good home, one where he feels safe and is well taken care of. Note from Jinx himself: Hi, My name is Jinx, but my foster parents call me Jinxie. I don’t know my specific birth date, but I am believed to be between 18-24 months old. My original human parents didn’t treat me well and I was left out in the country to fend for myself but since I’m so smart, sweet, cute, and humble I was given a second chance. I ran into a couple pleasant but busy country folk who took me in for free room and board. Actually, I shouldn’t say free, I paid dearly, with my manhood. That’s right, they neutered me and vaccinated me, dewormed me and deflead me, it was straight out of a horror film. I’m fully recovered, at least physically… They have other cats, and once you get to know me, you’ll see that I just want to play but for some reason I currently cannot tolerate the annoying habits of my fellow female feline counterparts. Not sure if it’s because my testosterone is still a little high or I’m just acclimating to being inside, but maybe with time I will be able to put up with female cats as well as I currently do humans and dogs. As I said before, I am very smart and learned how to use a litter box on my first try. I also do other things that my foster parents tell me are indicative of high intelligence but I’m just being me. I love to play and I’ve been told I’m fairly vocal when I’m hungry but I’ve just got a lot of things to say at times. I’m pretty dynamic and love to cuddle closely but I also enjoy spending time independently. Right now I’m currently on lockdown in an extra bedroom and getting pretty lonely and feel I deserve to spend more time to interact with humans and that’s why I’m here today, I’m looking to move out from my current “freeloading” environment (my foster parents’ words, not mine). I’m more than willing to provide love and affection in trade for a good home. Anywho, I’d love to introduce myself and see if I’d be a good fit but if you can’t take me in, please keep me in mind when you hear of a sweet and caring home that would love a new family member to grow with for many years to come. As I sit here typing this my foster parents are visibly shaken and extremely sad but don’t be sad for them, as I mentioned earlier, they took my manhood. They have also taken in another stray recently and have other ageing animals that need more attention, so I am being strong and doing what’s right for us all. Hope to connect with you soon. Jinxie
