Extra-Toes Cat (Hemingway Polydactyl) / Tabby / Mixed (short coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Adult
We have to rehome our kitty, Lady. She's located in Estacada, OR. She's a polydactyl cat with extra toes and huge paws. She was born in May of 2017. She was born with a limp in her back right leg which made her lay with crossed legs as a kitten, hence the name Lady. It doesn't bother her at all, though. Lady's a sweet kitty who loves to groom her human's freshly washed hair and find the weirdest positions to sleep in, but she's also a skilled hunter. We have a dog door that she goes in and out of and she's taken to bringing her prey inside and letting it loose. We've tried blocking the dog door, but it's negatively impacting our blind dog's behavior to not be able to access the yard as he had been previously. It has stopped Lady from bringing mice in, though. Aside from the mice, she's a great cat. She gets along well with our dog and she has a mutual agreement with our other cat where they both pretend the other one doesn't exist. She currently resides with a 14 month old without issue, although she does prefer to keep her distance from him. Rehoming fee is $50 For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the foster parent for follow-ups and meeting arrangement. Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.
