Honey is one year old and was a run away or throw away cat that was trying to survive. During this time she became pregnant and had four kittens. Horrible people killed three of the kittens and Honey and one kitten were rescued. The very first night I met Honey she laid her head in my hand as if to say "thank you for helping me". Her adorable kitten has already found a home and now it is time for Honey to find her forever home.

Honey lives in my bedroom as one of our resident cats is not friendly to other cats. Because of this I do not know how she will do with other cats. She has not had exposure to our resident dog.  When I come home from work she is eagerly awaiting me with lots of meows and requests for pets. She jumps up on the bed and follows me through the room to get the most attention. Honey loves to play with toys and will chase a wand toy for hours.

In the four months I have had her she has become increasingly comfortable. She now sleeps on the bed, but does not yet cuddle up to me. She likes to lay about two feet away and "make biscuits".

Honey is 100% litter box trained and like her dry cat food. She doesn't seem to have interest in treats or wet food.

I do believe she would do best in a home as the only cat or with slow introduction to other cats. She will let you know when she has had enough attention and small children who may not understand this may get a scratch.

There is a rehoming fee of $50 though I think she is priceless.  I give a guarantee that if the new home does not work out I absolutely would like the cat back to me.
