Katy is 8 and Booger is 5 years.  They do not need to go together but they do co-exist peacefully and both need a quiet and stress-free environment.

 Katy showed up on my porch around Halloween about 7 years ago and refused to leave. I brought her inside because of the dangers to black cats that time of year. She was and remains super shy but she quickly attached to me. She is very petite and cute. She is very affectionate and cuddly when the environment is quiet.

Booger was found abandoned as a kitten on a rural dirt road about 5 years ago. I offered to help take care of him and he ended up staying. He is moderately shy but he is very attached to me. He demands affection by placing his paw on me repeatedly any time I sit down and is cuddly when the environment is quiet.

 It is with a heavy heart and lots of tears that I need to find a new home for both of my house cats. They are both shy and skittish and as my four kiddos get bigger and louder, they are constantly anxious, stressed and hiding. They do not have to stay together and they are ok with very gentle dogs, just not kids, other cats or loud households.

They are indoor only. I have been working to rehome them for over a year but I live in a small rural community with an abundance of cats and the solution usually offered is to dump them in a barn somewhere or euthanize them.
