Hazel (aka Golden-Flecked Beauty; aka Intrepid Explorer): Hazel is cautious at first, but once you have earned her trust (it only takes a few days), she will be yours fur-ever. Hazel will cling to you when you hold her, and she often gently rests her teeth on you as she falls asleep, once she has decided that you are now Mama.
This is a kitten not to be ignored. If she is not getting enough attention, be prepared for her to leap out of the shadows at you, and then bound off of your knee and around the corner before you know what's hit you! And not that looks are important, but she's got 'em! Her golden (and hazel) eyes match the gold flecks in her dark-as-midnight fur.
No matter where you are or what you are doing, Hazel is certain of two things:
1) You are on a great adventure, and
(2) you definitely need Hazel's assistance.
