This boy and girl pair are litter mates and were rescued from a neglectful situation. Since being with their new foster, these two, Cassie & Kepler, have made remarkable improvements. Kepler is gaining more and more confidence every day. He is 100% one of the pack with this foster's own senior cats. He now walks around the house all through the day and plays with everyone and loves to be petted - not so much a fan of being picked up, yet. Still Kepler will be the shyer of the two and will take longer to get comfortable in a new home than Cassie. With lots of patience and soft voices, he will be the sweetest boy ever!
Cassie has recently started giving gentle kisses and wanting to groom her foster as she feels completely comfy in her new environment. She likes to gently hug your arm while she sleeps in bed next to you or on your chest if you let her. She also makes a good lap cat and is happy just laying right next to you on the couch. Hope you are a morning person as she is on a petting frenzy, the most, at that time of day. Cassie is a very high energy kitty even into adulthood and daily running through the house will keep her happy. She absolutely loves the dangling mouse from a bouncy string toy and will spend hours a day doing flips and spins trying to kill it.
Entertainment is essential for these two to break the ice. A lazer light is a must for these two and will keep YOU entertained for as long as you can stand it. Definitely, it is what helped Kepler come out of his shell. They both love dogs. Atleast, a big old dog would be ideal for them as they loved the last fosters' dog, who was a protective senior black lab. And non territorial cats are fine. Both love wet food before their dry food in the morning, mixed with water so it is a paste. Their favorite wetfood is Friskies Salmon pate.
These two special cats will need a quiet loving and caring home where their new owners will cherish them, are patient and who understand cats and have no young kids. And a laid back dog would be ideal. Both were fixed and fully vaccinated as kittens in 2021 and tested for FelV and FIV and both were negative. They got their annual FVRCP vaccine and 3 year Rabies vaccine this May, 2023. They will not need vetted for another year as long as they don't get injured or sick. They had been dewormed and give monthly flea treatment. They are very healthy and never been outside. Both will be microchipped when adopted. We are asking for a donation of $265 for the pair. And that includes delivery of the pair and their medical records to your home!
