Meet Lotion. This cat selectively has a kitten’s affection whenever food is present or at bedtime. She lived as a dumpster cat for half of her life as Talullah, but such a dignified name seemed…unsuited for her. She now goes by Lotion or Lo-Lo. She’s not the brightest or most sociable of cats, but her nighttime cuddles and friendly stalking well makes up for her sour disposition. Despite her old age, she’s finally learned to play and would like to do so whenever possible, even if her stamina isn’t what she thinks it to be. While playful, she doesn’t know how to softpaw beyond warning touches, so keeping her claws clipped short is important.
Lotion has a cauliflowered ear that’s the result of a past ear infection before I adopted her. She also has a flea allergy that makes her skin itch so she needs to be on good quality flea medication. She’s very skittish most of the time, and she is noit a fan of baths ( cats and water don't mix well!). Lotion is spayed and microchippedand has a distinctive tortie coloration with beautiful features. Lotion has learned to tolerate children in her space so long as they’re calm and quiet. If you currently have small humans living with you with boundless amounts of energy, you may not be the best for her. Other cat experience is doubtful - she would like to be your one and only feline! $40 adoption fee, Indoor only.
