Hi there! My name is Teddy, but I also answer to Teddybear, let me tell you about myself! I am a well-traveled feline that came to Vancouver from California. I can’t really tell you much about my kittenhood, but I grew up in California and was on my own for a while. Many folks have tried to provide a home for me, including the kind woman with whom I live currently, all hoping that I would be a good cat and blend seamlessly into their cat families, but I guess I tend to be bossy, and my new feline friends don’t like that. I am to the point in life that I really want my own people and I would really like them all to myself. I am not a lap cat, per se, but I will hang out with you, maybe nap next to you or in my bed nearby. I like chin and ear scratches and long strokes down my back. At 6pm every evening I will gladly remind you it is dinner time and then escort you to the kitchen and our food bowls. You have until 7pm to make this happen before I start making a fuss. I have been told that I can get underfoot, I can’t help walking right with you and in front of you and next to you. I am not trying to trip you, I just want to be close. I love toys, all my toys. I am a very practiced and highly skilled hunter with all my toys, I am not picky. I don’t have any known dog experience, so let’s just not go there. I am living the indoor life these days and that is fine by me. I like warm squishy beds and windows for bird and squirrel watching. I am at least 6 years old, have been neutered, tested for FELV/FIV, current on shots, microchipped and do not have any issues with the litter box.
