  Nala was called Sweet Pea when we adopted her from a foster home in December 2012. Sometimes we call her Squeeky for the little noises she makes. She is loyal, low key and the sweetest girl. She spends most of her time in her cat bed snoozing or in her cat tree. Although she does openly enjoy cuddling she will find the right time and give you all her attention. Careful, she drools when she gets excited from all the loves! She is very docile, has never scratched or bitten us and is great with other cats. She unfortunately is not happy in her current environment with the puppy in our home. She is not a fan of dogs. She has not been around children but tends to hide around new or loud people. Her best home would be for someone that is looking for a low maintenance kitty, where she can look outside during the day and where she'll feel safe from noise and activity. Nala loves cat nip and has no desire to go outside, she may dabble on the back patio for a minute but does not like to venture away. She is a wonderful cat and we have tried everything to help her adjust to the dog but shes clearly not happy about it. It makes me very sad that she retreats from the activity in our house. I don't want her adult years to be spent in hiding from the dog or our future children, she would be much happier in a new home. Indoor only.
