  Elvis is the best friend everyone is looking for. He’s friendly, calm, good-natured, and easy going. At the young age of 12, he’s as happy to sit and watch TV with you on the couch as he is to take a nap in the sun. He’s an excellent soccer player and loves to chase toys and ping pong balls around the house. Always well-dressed in his tuxedo suit, he’s affectionate and gentle, and blends well into any home environment. While he gets along with other cats, he sometimes feels nervous around other male cats and would most likely prefer to feel like the “man of the house.” Regardless, he’s flexible and goes with the flow. Elvis hasn’t always had an easy life, so his resilience and friendliness is remarkable. Dumped outside by his previous “owners” and neglected for years, he was officially abandoned on the street last fall. He had to learn to adapt and survive in harsh conditions, but never let it turn him aggressive or skittish. Once he was rescued by his current foster mom, he fell into indoor life easily and comfortably. Due to the years of neglect, his teeth are in less than perfect condition, and he needs daily thyroid medication and reasonably-priced prescription food, but he is worth every moment of effort put into him. A sweet and gentle boy, Elvis will be YOUR “Teddy Bear.”
