My name is Cali, short for Calliope.  My human mom just passed away this week and I find myself in need of a home to live out my remaining years.  I am 15 years young, not as playful as I used to be but I still have spunk and love to be pet once I get to know you.  I am quiet and like to snuggle.  My last years have been spent with my human mom in a quiet facility where I did just fine.  I like a clean litter

box  (as any older lady would!) and if you are patient with me I will be a gentle companion to keep away lonliness.  I am told my time in this temporary place is short so I hope you might want to see me soon.  I live in a Tacoma, WA but my human’s family will be glad to drive me to the right home.  Because of COVID-19 (whatever THAT is) I cannot be visited in Tacoma but maybe you will see my pictures and want to talk to one of the caregivers or my human’s family for more information.
