Great Cats for Great Homes

I Resuced my cat Sammy 2 December's ago. She had been abandoned by her owner and was living outside in the cold. She had been outside for 3 yrs when someone told me about her. It was cold and snowing and I did not want her out living in those kind of conditions. So I took her home to live with me. She is a pretty black and white tuxedo cat. She is very friendly although she does have some hangup. maybe because of her previous living situation. She does not really like me to pick her up. I have been able to hold her a little but she is mostly uncomfortable with that. She loves for me to pet her and brush her and she is comfortable with my friends petting here. She's not afraid of new people. She likes to sit next to me on my couch and sleeps on my bed with me. I think she would be best with no other cats in the home. She would probably be fine with a dog as long as they liked cats and didn't scare her. I think she would do well in a house she can come and go out of. A indoor outdoor situation. But absolutely not a outdoor only cat! I never want her to have to go through that again. She does play some. She loves chasing string. She has had some accidents in my house. Thats not to say she would at someone else's house. I do not know. I just know she is very sweet and loves attention . She is very loveable and I love her very much but I can no longer keep her. 1 important reason is I am looking to become roommates with a friend who has a dog that doesn't like cats and I can't keep living on my own.
