Kitty is a survivor! She nearly starved/froze to death before getting the courage to come to our patio door, despite the 2 dogs we have. We have spotted her occasionally over the last few weeks around our rural home. Her history is a mystery--she could have been abandoned or lost when a senior owner's living situation changed. We don't know. Once Kitty was safe, warm and started eating again we discovered her very sweet disposition. She deserves a loving home to live out her senior years, after the cruel conditions she has suffered over the last few months. She is definitely an indoor cat, having been declawed at some point. We have two dogs, and neither has lived with cats (or is seemingly willing to do so now). While we are coming to love her and want what's best, we cannot keep her indoors which is where she must live. For now she is eating well and gaining strength. Her amazing, loving personality is showing itself every day. We are providing vet care and can share her records. One vet tech thinks she looks like a rare Egyptian Mau breed. Maybe so but in any case she has a regal bearing. Please enjoy the loving gaze of this wonderful cat.
