Great Cats for Great Homes

  Dexter really is the best cat we ever had but, unfortunately, life is changing for us and we can no longer give him the care he needs. A family member will be moving in with us soon and they cannot be around pets. Dexter is friendly, cuddly, and is great with other cats. We adopted him from Cat Adoption Team when he was a kitten and he's been with us ever since. He is 10 years old and relatively healthy other than needing special food to prevent urinary tract crystals from developing and he takes thyroid medicine twice a day but he is really good about taking it so that has not been a problem. He is up to date on vaccines and is fixed. Dexter has always been an indoor kitty and very well cared for. We have always treated him like a real member of the family. We have never observed any aggression or ill behaviors. He is super sweet and gentle. We welcomed a new baby into our family last year and Dexter has always been very good around him.
