Meet Barley, a handsome mackerel patterned tabby. Born into a large litter, this sweet boy ended up with a little bit of a “kinked,” shorter tail that only adds to his charm and adorably poofs like a bottle brush during excited play! Barley is extremely playful and loving and enjoys to greet you with a gentle head butt. He is always up for a good cuddle after play and meals. Though he hasn’t had experience with kids, Barley’s energy and personality make us think he would LOVE growing up in a home with gentle kids as his best friends for daytime play and nighttime snuggles.

  Like many former bottle-babies Barley is bold, adventurous and loves to follow his humans around. As such he needs a mostly kitten-proofed environment (watch out for cords) and needs to be kept indoors.

All of the Grain Kittens have experience with, and enjoy, their foster’s adult cat and small dog and so would love to either go to a home with an existing friendly pet or with a fellow sibling. They don’t have experience with kids but would likely be fine with older/respectful and gentle children.
