  We found Mai 3 years ago on a friend's farm. Well, we didn't actually find her, a herd of sheep did. The friend noticed the sheep circled around something in the middle of the field.When he went out there to check, he found them trying to nudge the tiny white kitten towards the barn. He fostered her until she was 8 weeks old and then we took her home. After a while we realized she was deaf and decided it was not safe for her to be outside. She's also sensitive to over-stimulation, so its just better for everyone if she is kept in a controlled, indoor environment. She loves people and animals, and is super playful and silly. Her play is aggressive at times so she does best with medium to large dogs that don't mind it when she tries to push them around. She's more gentle with people so long as you give her the TLC she needs. She would do best with someone who can spend a lot of time with her or if she can bond with another pet. She just needs a companion in order to keep her stress levels down. I would love to keep her, but I am moving out of the country in a couple months and can't take her with me. She is a sweet girl who loves to give kisses on the nose and crawl under the covers with you, but she also loves chasing strings and laser pointers. She's not the smartest kitty (probably because she was separated from her mother too early) and she is deaf, but so long as she has some extra TLC from an owner with a little extra patience, she's a great pet.
