I have a Gorgeous Sweet Russian Blue. She was abandoned after her owner passed away in an assisted living center. I found her outside the center in some bushes and brought her home. I told my neighbors; "Sasha is the 'Community Cat." She is friendly and very sweet! She loves the outdoors and comes in to nap for a bit & also sleeps in my bed with my dog at night. She does not like to be held, but she loves to be a lap cat and rubbed a lot. Sasha loves to sleep on a pillow next to mine at night. We have new apartment owners with a given-ruling of no outside cats, unless, on a leash. That does not agree with Sasha, one bit! I prefer a quieter new home for her with a mature couple or single person. A cat door would work great for her! She loves to go out a lot. She becomes restless, if made to stay indoors. We live in Linn Benton area (Corvallis/Albany/Lebanon) of Oregon.
