  Jesse is a darling orange, short-haired tabby. He was adopted from a meth addicts house when he was about 8 months old. He is extremely shy but, super sweet. I can tell he so much wants to be loved up but, his shyness gets the better of him to the point that some night he will not come in the house He lives with two older tabby cats and our golden retriever, who is very gentle. Jesse was attacked by a pitbull in 2013 while he was was sleeping in the shade, which caused him to be even more frightened. Our dog is extremely gentle and does not chase our cats. She is their "nanny dog". She licks them and snuggles with them. I do not feel Jesse would do well with other dogs, unless they are as gentle and non-threatening as Gracie (because of the pitbull incident). Last year, my husband passed away. I currently have two small children, three cats, and a older dog. Jesse does not have special needs but, needs a very special person who has a calm household to love him up. I have been feeling so guilty about not being able to give him the attention he deserves. An indoor situation may suit him best.
