 "Old as the Hills and twice as dusty" as the saying goes, Patch found his way to a kind-hearted family who now needs longer-term help with him.  He is very thin, emaciated really, but happy to be petted and gently loved on.  "He is friendly with people of all ages. He comes up to me and head-butts my leg.  My kids are 11 and 16 and he's never hissed at them or attempted to bite.  The only person he hasn't been thrilled with was the vet.  He doesn't care about other cats or the dog.  He walks right by them.  He would probably do best in a quiet home but doesn't seem to be bothered by much." 

After being diagnosed with apparent Thyroid disease he is on small pills twice a day "We crush the pills he takes and put in a small amount of wet food," per the rescuer.
