Great Cats for Great Homes

  If you are looking for a great little buddy, I have a furry friend for you. I am being relocated by my employer from Portland to California and regrettably, not able to take my cat Samantha (aka Sammy). I adopted Sammy when she was 6 months old at the Bonnie L Hays animal shelter and have had her almost 15 years. She is an orange tabby manx (no tail), 9 pounds, is an older girl but in great health, loves her humans, gets along well with cats, dogs, kids, is indoor only and is ready for a new adventure.

She likes her quiet time (typically under the bed) but enjoys laying in a sunspot shining through a window, sprawling out on a furry rug and at night laying beside her human buddy to get her head rubbed and being told how beautiful she is. She is not a diva though, just an older kitty with a well deserved laid back attitude. She has been seen twice yearly for her vet visits for the past 15 years and her records are available from my veterinarian. On 7/15/2018, she just had her most recent physical and rabies shot. Her teeth are in great condition for an older kitty also verifiable by my vet. She will not need to have a vet exam for the next year. She is microchipped. I am heartbroken in needing to re-home her but am confident her new human buddy is out there. Ideally, she’d like a new human that is also a mature diva but is flexible! If you have room in your home and heart for my lovely Samantha, she comes with food, cat litter and treats for a year that I will be providing along with a new kitty bed so she can start out her new life with you in style. I looking forward to hearing from you about my fluffy friend.
