Great Cats for Great Homes

Spinners owner passed away, she currently lives at the estate indoors and I am a family friend. I visit once a day to care for Spinner and Tiki Tom who is also listed here on Cats Cradle. She is 6 years old, absolutely gorgeous, and a real character. We think she has Abyssinian mixed in her, not just because of her coat and facial structure, but her behavior. While Spinner is flighty with new people, she is SUCH a sweet heart to her human once trust has been established. She's very loyal, just loves to stick her butt in air and get scratched and rubbed and make cute little chirpy noises. She used to sleep with her owner many nights and sit on her lap occasionally as well. She usually has an active agenda, often in and out of house or up in one window or another, keeping survey of her territory or stalking flying insects. She does best as indoor/outdoor, has great hearing, very quick and agile, as well as strong for being a smaller size, and she always stays inside the yard. She is a show off too, often running past me at top speeds in back yard and scratching on tree trunks. She has definitely shown to be territorial with some cats, and I think she do best in an only cat home, but there may be exceptions on case by case basis. She also could be an awesome farm/barn cat, I just know she really enjoys a human to bond and spend time with. If you are ok with taking the time it will take for Spinner to relax and warm up to you and her new surroundings with proper a proper and safe acclimation, you will be greatly rewarded. She is fixed, just had her annual exam at the vet with all vaccinations up to date and she has no fleas.
