  Tiki Toms owner passed away. He was originally one of many cats she cared for, and one of the last two out of 8 who I am trying to find homes for. He has spent much of his life outdoors, however in the last 8 months he has really warmed up to inside life and very much enjoys lap time with me when I visit daily and care for him at the estate. After he eats he comes running and leaps onto the couch purring and curls right up. He has the sweetest low pitched tom meows and is vocally responsive. When outside, if I call his name he comes running to me meowing. Of course he will need time to acclimate to his new home and bond to his new person before ever being let outside. Building full relaxation and trust with his new human will take a little time and sensitivity.. So if you don't mind being patient, you will be rewarded with an amazing companion. He has a playful side too and enjoys fun with toys. He is easy to pick up and crate (when he trusts you) and does amazingly well at the vet, they love him there. He gets along with other cats indoors, but when he lived outside he seemed to hang solo at the back 40 of the large lot and he was apt to be chased off from being too close to house by certain cats at times. He really is not a fighter or instigator. And if you have other cats, proper acclimation and introduction to them is key for safety of all. Really such a great kitty, if my landlord said I could have another (I rescued two already), I would take him in a heart beat. A good home is a must!
