Great Cats for Great Homes

  I need to re-home my 11-year old sweetheart, Gibralter (or "Gibbs" as she is called more often). She is a sweet, friendly, talkative Siamese cat who gets along well with other animals. Some overly energetic dogs make her cautious, but she is just as happy to climb onto the back of the couch and observe them chase their tails. She does not have medical issues, she is just getting older. Some arthritis in her legs, however this doesn't seems to bother her. I give her Cosequin to help with the pain. She loves getting rubs, pets and scratches all over, but does not necessarily like to be held (I believe because of her arthritis). She is content spending her days with you sitting and enjoying any view (including watching Netflix and getting cuddles). She is vocal and interactive, but is also happy to find a spot to lay in the sun or on your bed sleeping the day away. She goes outdoors but does not stray far (she will usually want back in the house when you re-enter). She has been an incredible pet and I am saddened to look for a new home for her. I am moving in with a sibling who needs help managing health issues and she is allergic to cats. I hope to find her a loving home where she can snuggle and sleep away her remaining years.
