NOTE: TOM and KONA are bonded buddies and would love to be adopted together) Tom is a very sweet, relaxed boy. He wants to always be near his human, sometimes liking to be picked up and loved. If he can sit near you while you are on the computer or cooking in the kitchen, he is happy. Tom used to like shoulders but he is a big boy now and doesn't fit anymore. He likes to play some but isn't super active. He has been raised completely indoors but does like to go out on a leash for very short periods of time, to munch on some grass. He tends to get very hot in the sun. We are heartbroken about having to give Tom up but our new daughter-in-law is terribly allergic and we really want our son and his new wife to be able to come over. Tom loves to eat, maybe more than he should. He's not terribly picky about what he eats but doesn't seem to like many cat treats. He enjoys chasing a laser around on the floor and likes crinkly balls that he will bat around like playing soccer. We have had Tom since he was 8 weeks old. He is sometimes frightened by loud unexpected noises but most of the time doesn't mind blenders, vacuums or even the doorbell. He is curious about any people who come to visit. We don't have young children but when a couple came to visit, he was fine letting them pick him up and haul him around. When he get's tired of them, he will find a high place to take a nap. We also have another kitty who is 1 month older than Tom and we have had since he was about 10 weeks old. Tom and Kona are close and can be homed together or separately.
