Kona is my baby and loverboy. He is bashful when meeting new people and takes a bit to get to know you but when he is comfortable he is a great cuddler and awesome kitty. He is very loving to all other animals and seems to desire to be friendly to them. Kona has been raised strictly indoors but has been taken out on a leash. He loves the outdoors and really wants to be out there. He loves to chew on grass and indoors he loves to eat spinach leaves. He prefers canned food (chunks in gravy) but does like some kitty treats.
He is very playful and sometimes will race around the house with his tail up. He has a favorite toy that he plays with all the time until it disappears. We have to hunt it down, usually under a dresser. When he sees it again, he gets very excited. Kona does have anxiety with loud noises or strange people. He needs a home without children and where no little children come often to visit as their voices scare him. We need to find a new home for Kona as our new daughter-in-law is terribly allergic to our cats and we want our grandchildren to be able to visit us too.
Kona will start off hiding but will be your best buddy and companion in the right home. He likes to be picked up and held quietly like a baby and will keep you warm on Winter nights.
