Sweet-shy Nutmeg is a darling kitten just learning to trust.  She was born to an outside mom cat but brought into loving indoor care at 6-weeks.  She purrs up a storm when she is pet - loves playing with her sister Evie and will be a great companion.  She doesn't like loud noises (a noisy airplane sent all kittens scampering) but normally a calm and gentle approach is all that is needed to win her over.  Oh, and FOOD too.  Nutmeg is vocal when you bring food to her and I am sure she is saying HURRY UP and PUT IT DOWN - ha ha - She is a good eater, has great litter box manners and likes to play with laser and fabric or feathers on a wand toy.  She will appreciate another kitten to play with (we suggest Evie) - a gentle and cat-savvy dog will be ok too as long as he isn't bouncy and rough.  Gentle older children will enjoy getting her to bond with them.  Initially she will be a "work in progress" but *very* worth the time involved.
