"We need to find a new home for our two cats, Ben & Jerry. We have to move back soon to Hawaii to care for a sick parent and don't want to put our cats through the move again. The move to Oregon was very traumatizing for them. It will be worse going back since Hawaii requires a 120 day quarantine process before they are allowed to enter the state, and requires several vet visits. We love them dearly and it's been a very difficult decision to have to find them another home, but we feel it's best for them. We adopted them both as kittens together at the Honolulu Humane Society. They were both only 8 weeks old when we adopted them and they are lifelong litter mates. They are not to be separated and will be adopted together. We will be conducting thorough screenings of potential adopters.
They are both turning 4 y.o. and have always been given tons of love and affection. They are both also very loving and affectionate cats with no behavioral concerns. If you show them love, they will be on your lap rubbing their heads on you asking for love all the time. They are great lap cats. They also love to play.
We've always kept up with vet visits. They are both up to date with all vaccinations and are both neutered with micro-chips. We can provide vet records. You'll be saving lot's of money.
They have both always been inside cats and have never gone outside, except in a carrier to the vet. They have never been around dogs or kids, nor have they ever lived with any other cats.
They'll come with their toys, scratching posts, double cat perch, 2 litter boxes, bowls, gravity feeders, and everything else they need, so you'll be saving lot's of money there as well.
We are only asking for a $25 rehoming fee per cat. Please feel free to call with questions and if you'd like to schedule a visit to come by and meet them. We very much love and care about our boys and will do our best to make sure that they will go to another loving and caring owner who will provide a safe home and future for them. Thank you!!
