If you are interested in Theo and have had experience with this breed type, please fill out and submit a pre-adoption application prior to asking questions. WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM Theo is a 14 week old Silver Ebony Ocicat. Ocicats are not wild but a mix of three breeds and are not anything like Bengal or other "exotic" cats...they do not have behavior problems associated with wild cats. They are known to be very social, smart, like dogs, and are great with cats and dogs. In fact, it is very important for Ocicats to be in a multi pet household as they do not do well alone, or left alone for long periods of time. I have rescued three and they are just a wonderful breed. They love new people, love to play, and just are a very solid breed - all three of my rescued Ocicats were more dog like than cat like and the breed is known for this. They are mix of Siamese, Abyssinian, and Domestic Short Hair breeds. No wild or hybrid blood like Savannahs, Bengals, or Servals. These wild breeds do not do well as a domestic cat and most of these cats wind up in rescues due to domestication problems. Theo is very playful, loves to cuddle, does well with other cats, good with his claws and uses scratching posts and scratchers. He's just a sweet little guy. As I said before, Oci's need to have companions, and do very well with cats and dogs. Oh, and he MUST be an indoor cat. Ocicats do not do well as outdoor cats and most breeders make you sign that they will only be indoor cats. He really needs a feline buddy, not a senior feline who is too tired to play. This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. Due to the nature of the kittens special breed the owner is asking for a $200 donation/adoption fee that will be donated to the care and rescue of the felines with Cat's Cradle Rescue. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the owner for follow-ups and meeting arrangement. Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.
