  Hello my name is Dougie.  I’m an affectionate 8 year old boy who likes his belly rubbed, tuna fish as a treat and to cuddle up on the sofa with my family.

My family is moving unexpectedly back to England and although they love me and would have kept me if they were staying they are unable to take me with them.  I’m mostly an indoor cat but when the weather is nice I like to wander round my garden to smell (and eat) the flowers.  I come right back inside though. 

I’m a lover not a fighter and I’ve been an only cat most of my life but I could be a good companion to other cats if they are lovers too. I’ve never been around dogs so I’m not sure if I will like them. I’m a lap cat who likes to be around people and likes to sleep at the end of the bed. I’ve also only lived with adults and teenage children.

I’ve been to the vets annually, I’ve had all my shots and I’ve got no health issues
