NOTE: this extra-large kitty is big and gentle and just a sweetheart.  She is dog-like in her actions and affection and will make a wonderful companion.  Purebred Mainecoon means she will take a big lap (or maybe spread over two! - sort of like a blanket with legs).  She eats special food for sensitive tummies.  Healthy and robust! 

 

Lucy (8 years old) is a very talkative companion looking forward to a forever home.  She has excellent litter box habits, loves to chat back and forth, and loves to knead her favorite blanket draped over your belly/lap. Even though she does not appreciate being picked up, (and at 20-lbs you might not WANT to pick her up!) she will want to be in the same room with you as your constant companion, and loves to be followed and pet while she purrs and talks.  She is o.k. with brushing but prefers to self-groom, which she keeps up very well.  Lucy has a sensitive tummy and Purina Pro Plan Veterinary EN Gastroenteric Formula Dry cat food from your vet will keep it happy. She has always been indoors, though loves balconies.
