  While remodeling my boyfriend's home we noticed that we were being observed by a cute little cat.  Upon further scrutiny, we realized that she had taken up residence under a tree on the neighbor's vacant back lot.   After remarks of concern from various passersby, we decided to approach her to ascertain her condition.  She had scooped out a little nest in the dry dirt under the tree where she seemed to be spending most of her time. Somewhat shy at first, after multiple offers of kibble, she warmed up to us and moved her nest to a bush inside our yard near the food dish. I began petting her, picking her up and bringing her inside to visit.  She started coming to the door to ask for her food and followed us around when we were outside.  Our relationship continued along this vein until my boyfriend's home sold and we decided to rescue her by bringing her with us to my home.  Unfortunately, we already have three cats and a dog and there is really no room for another companion here, so we've decided to find her a good home of her own. A delightful young lady, Miss Lovey is affectionate and friendly, having the top of her head scratched sends her into heaven.  When we give her a treat, she tries to meow and eat at the same time and it sounds like she's saying "Num, num, num". She loves catnip and toys that dangle.  She is about 3 to 4 years old, tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia, spayed, microchipped and vaccinated.  An indoor only home is required, please.

Adoption includes spay/neuter, microchip, worming and flea treatment, current vaccines, vet exam and free 30-day insurance offer.  A donation might be suggested but there is no specified adoption fee.
